He has won remix competitions hosted by Bass Music Blog and Trouble and Bass, and has had his productions showcased on a wide range of mediums including many radio sets on CJAM 99.1 FM in Windsor/Detroit and CKLN 88.1FM in Toronto, and has had his tracks featured on BBC Radio 1xtra as well as BBC Radio 1.
He runs his label Stacked Records and throws parties under his Turbo City imprint across venues in Toronto, Luke has been pushing underground dance music for close to ten years in Toronto, and has opened for such artists as, Deekline, Flava D, Hannah Wants, Shiba San and Low Steppa to name a few, keep your ear to the ground because the best is yet to come from this talented and hard working producer and DJ.
One fateful night, after experiencing the energy of the pulsating dance music pouring out of the speakers at a rave at the Ontario Science Centre, Terror Tone aka Luke was gripped with a compelling urge to explore the depths of electronic music for himself. He started producing drum & bass music and went on to host a radio show at the University of Windsor, which went on to win titles in both “best new show” and “best electronic show” at the CJAM Radio awards in 2006. This was just the beginning for the Canadian producer. Luke has a long musical history, he started his music career playing the trumpet and violin in grade school and went on to play classical guitar for 5 years winning multiple competitions across Ontario and Canada through the Royal Conservatory of Music He achieved a Grade 7 certification in classical guitar before moving his attention to contemporary styles of music. After a few years of playing in Punk and Metal bands as a lead guitarist, he became heavily involved with the electronic music scene.
